Pavani Indian Cuisine

Brilliant business model. Indian buffet, for DINNER. I was complaining that indian buffet didnt exist for dinner, and low and behold there was created pavani. Pavani is a slightly shabby place, with heavy mahogany-vaneer tables that seem out of place with its opulent-esque curtained chandeliered design, glass storefront, and undecorated stainless steel buffet. Its also kind of expensive - 15 dollars, when it would be ideal at around 10. The cost is probably in the spices, which they (for the better) lay on thick. The meats are very good, especially the butter chicken and the Saag paneer. I wish there was lamb paneer, but oh well. When Im feeling rich this place doesnt feel too expensive, but when Im feeling poor it does. strange place. Visit Houston Chinese, Japanese, Korean Restaurants for more restaurant reviews.
